Mickey Joseph, Chris Kolarevic react to 'wild' status of B1G West entering Week 6
After another wild week of college football, the B1G West is officially muddled.
Of the 7 teams in the B1G West, 6 of them are 1-1 in conference play thus far. Wisconsin is the lone team at the bottom after falling to 0-2 in conference play after a loss to Illinois.
Nebraska interim Head Coach Mickey Joseph acknowledged the tightness of the division, stating “The West is wild right now.”

Joseph’s comments came after Nebraska got its first conference win over the weekend, taking down Indiana by a score of 35-21. Nebraska senior LB Chris Kolarevic also commented on the matter, stating “At the end of the day you want that opportunity and we’re still in it obviously.”
Chris Kolarevic says the team won’t look too far ahead, but the chaos in the Big Ten West helps.

Kolarevic certainly has a point – while Nebraska’s season has not gone to plan, it is too soon to completely count the Huskers out in the B1G West. Nebraska will take on Rutgers in Week 6 and will look to keep up with the rest of the B1G.
