Mickey Joseph plays Indiana in his second game as interim HC at Nebraska. He believes a win over the Hoosiers could do a lot of good for the team in the long run per Luke Mullin of the Lincoln Journal Star.

Indiana beat Nebraska 38-31 in Lincoln the last time they played each other in 2019. Joseph knows how impactful momentum can be in college football, and that the team just needs another win under their belt to get going.

“It’s really important for this football team to get some confidence that they can start something and finish it,” said Joseph.

Nebraska may be out of the running for a B1G West title right now at 1-3, but there is still a lot of time left for the Cornhuskers to salvage their season. If the team can just find a way to reach a bowl game, it would go a long way.

Indiana-Nebraska kicks off Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
