Mickey Joseph faces his first test as head coach of Nebraska Saturday.

But he’s no stranger to the Nebraska program. On Monday, Nebraska’s Big Ten Network site on Twitter released his highlight video from his time as Huskers QB in 1990.

And he had some wheels.

It was a different game back then. Joseph rushed for more yards than he passed across his 4-year career at Nebraska, totaling 1,091 rushing yards with 16 touchdowns. He threw for 909 yards and 14 touchdowns, throwing 8 interceptions.

Nebraska faces No. 7 Oklahoma this coming week for Josephs first test as a head coach. A lot of people may have written him off as a long term solution, but you know he’s going to be auditioning across these next 9 games.
