Mickey Joseph and the Nebraska football program have been through a lot this season. So forgive the Huskers if they feel the need to let loose a bit after Saturday’s win.

Facing Indiana, Nebraska and the Hoosiers battled back and forth in the first half. After trading turnovers and punts in the third quarter, the Huskers eventually pulled away with a 14-point fourth quarter.

It marks Joseph’s first win as head coach of the program after taking over following the firing of Scott Frost. Bill Busch also had his first crack as DC of the team in Week 5 after Erik Chinander was let go following the loss to Oklahoma.

After the game, the players and Joseph hit a locker room celebration with the head coach tossed about in a mosh pit scenario. Take a look:

Hopefully, Joseph and the Huskers can take this energy and build on a win heading into a Week 6 meeting vs. Rutgers.
