Mickey Joseph picked up his first win as Nebraska’s interim Head Coach last Saturday against Indiana. On Monday, the acting head coach named the team’s emotional leader, noting he likes to celebrate big after a big play such as a sack.
It’s hard to get hyped up after Nebraska’s rough start. Garrett Nelson is a guy the Huskers need desperately.
Joseph on Garrett Nelson: “I’ve got to get him lined up after a sack, he wants to run around after that.”
Also said Nelson is the team’s emotional leader.

Nelson has been a sight for sore eyes among the Nebraska faithful. He’s totaled 15 tackles and 3 sacks this season for the Huskers.
Nebraska looks to keep its positive momentum going this week against Rutgers.
