Mickey Joseph previews plans for Tommi Hill in Nebraska's Week 7 game
Mickey Joseph and Nebraska have a decision to make in Week 7. This particular decision comes down to how to utilize Tommi Hill moving forward.
A 4-four star member of the 2021 recruiting class, Hill began his career at Arizona State as a defensive back. He transferred to the Huskers this offseason and has played defensive back so far this season.
However, Joseph discussed during the week that the team is working Hill out at wide receiver with the offense. While nothing is set in stone, Joseph sounded optimistic about Hill’s long-term value at the position.
Thursday night, Joseph touched on Hill during his radio show appearance. He noted that a player “should probably move” if a college coach is recommending it. He stopped short of saying where Hill will play this week but noted Nebraska must make a decision on where — and how much — Hill will play vs. Purdue.
Mickey Joseph said they will decide tomorrow how much they can use Tommi Hill and where they’ll use him.
“Usually when a college coach tells you that you should move, you probably should move.” He said Hill has bought in, is a good teammate and fierce competitor.
