Mickey Joseph talked about what he wants to do on offense in the 2nd half, while praising the performance of his defense so far. Nebraska went into halftime up 10-0 over Minnesota.
The defense was able to shut out Minnesota through two quarters and Joseph acknowledged how great they played. To no one’s surprise after how Anthony Grant was running the ball in the first half, Joseph stated that he wants to continue running the ball in the second half.

Grant had over 80 yards rushing on 15 carries. His increased workload could have to do with Casey Thompson not being able to play against the Golden Gophers. Thompson was not going into the game.
It looks like Joseph has his mind in the right place for this game. Grant should continue to be a focal point of the Nebraska offense with the way he’s running against Minnesota.
