Since leaving for the Big Ten in 2011, the Nebraska Cornhuskers haven’t faced a Big 12 team in non-conference play.

However, that could soon change, according to a comment made by new AD Bill Moos on Monday.

According to Moos, the Huskers could soon add former Big 12 foes Kansas and Kansas State to their non-conference schedules:

Obviously, Kansas isn’t exactly in a great spot right now, football-wise, but a game against K-State would be one of the better non-conference games of any year.

Talking about it and actually scheduling the games are two very different things, though, so we’ll see if anything actually happens in the coming years.
