Nebraska athletic director Trev Alberts believes that the sellout streak for home football games is going to continue into 2022.

Alberts spoke to the media on Tuesday evening and confirmed that the game against Purdue this Saturday will be 100% sold out, as will the other 2 games against Iowa and Ohio State.

Nebraska has had the longest sellout streak in NCAA history. It started in 1962 and the streak is currently up to 379 straight sellouts. If the Cornhuskers were to sell out their remaining home games this season, it would go up to 382 going into next year.

There were multiple times when it looked like the streak was going to break, but Nebraska had some boosters to help out to keep it going.

The Cornhuskers are currently 3-5 and will play the Boilermakers this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET. It’ll be televised by ESPN2.
