A 3-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class, Morton spent the 2021 campaign at Garden City Community College. He was credited with making 20 tackles and 2 pass break-ups.
The other two junior college transfers headed to Nebraska are DeShon Singleton (Hutchinson Community College) and running back Anthony Grant (New Mexico Military Institute).
Morton will have 3 years of eligibility remaining to use in Lincoln. He will be expected to be in the mix to make significant contributions during his first year with the program.
