Nebraska adds commitment from Georgia offensive line transfer
Former Georgia offensive lineman Jacob Hood, a former 4-star prospect out of Nashville, TN, announced Monday that he would be joining Matt Rhule’s impressive transfer class at Nebraska.
Hood will have 4 years of eligibility remaining in Lincoln and weighs an impressive 330 pounds at 6-foot-8.
He did not play any snaps at Georgia in 2022.

Hood is the 3rd transfer from Georgia to transfer to Nebraska, joining tight end Arik Gilbert and outside linebacker MJ Sherman. He joins Arizona State transfer Ben Scott as an offensive line transfer.
Other notable transfer commitments for Nebraska include former Georgia Tech QB Jeff Sims and Virginia WR transfer Billy Kemp.
