Nebraska adds Edge prospect from Colorado to 2024 recruiting class
Nebraska has added an Edge defender to its 2024 recruiting class with a new commitment.
Jordan Ochoa, out of Castle View in Colorado, announced Thursday that he will play for Matt Rhule’s program.
“I’m very blessed for this opportunity,” wrote in a note posted to social media. “I would like to thank my Coaches at Castle View High School for always pushing me on and off the field. I would also like to thank my family, teammates, teachers and friends, who have supported me throughout this journey. With that being said I will be committing to the University of Nebraska! GBR #GOHUSKERS.”
Ochoa’s listed measurements are 6-4, 220 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, he is rated 3-stars, the No. 17 player in the state of Colorado, No. 138 Edge and No. 2,080 prospect overall in the Class of 2024. Ochoa chose the Huskers over scholarship offers from Wyoming, Washington State, Jackson State and Florida A&M.
