Nebraska has added a pair of non-conference opponents to the 2022-23 college basketball schedule.

According to HuskerOnline.com, Nebraska has locked in the first two games of next season. The Huskers will open the season against Maine at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Monday, Nov. 7 and will also host Omaha on Thursday, Nov. 10.

In addition to the two regular season games on the docket, Nebraska and Colorado are also expected to hold an exhibition game for charity. A date has not been established, though HuskerOnline.com suggests it will likely be played in late October.

Maine finished the 2021-22 season with a 6-23 record while Omaha was 5-25. Both schools are going through a change at head coach.

Nebraska was 10-22 last season and will be entering the fourth year of the Fred Hoiberg era.
