The date has been set for a while now, but Nebraska has just announced the start time for its annual spring game.

Fans can catch their first glimpse of the 2022 Huskers on Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m. CT. The game will be played at Memorial Stadium. Big Ten Network will also provide coverage of this year’s game.

Nebraska announced the start time with a post on social media. The team started spring practice on Monday, February 28.

Nebraska is coming off a 3-9 season in 2021 and will be entering the fifth year of the Scott Frost era. The Huskers are still looking to reach the postseason for the first time since the 2016 season.

Several changes to the staff were made in the offseason, primarily to the offensive side of the ball. Nebraska also recruiting the transfer portal well and is looking to find some immediate help on the field to respond after a disappointing run last fall.
