Nebraska announces suspension for assistant women's basketball coach
Nebraska has announced that it has suspended assistant women’s basketball coach Chuck Love without pay. The suspension is effective immediately.
Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald reported the news on Saturday afternoon. Very little information was provided on the situation in Lincoln.
The Nebraska athletic department suspended Love without pay because of a “personal matter.” No further comment was provided on the suspension.

Per McKewon, Love was not on the Nebraska bench in the Huskers’ game against Penn State on Thursday. The Huskers fell to the Nittany Lions 83-76.
Nebraska is 19-7 on the season with an 8-7 mark in B1G play. The Huskers are an impressive 14-1 on their home floor.
