Nebraska announces team awards via social media
This afternoon, the Nebraska Cornhuskers announced its team awards via social media.
The Huskers went 9-3 during the 2016 regular season and were awarded with a Music City Bowl appearance on Dec. 30 against Tennessee. If Nebraska does beat the Volunteers in Nashville, it would mark the first time since 2012 (10-4) in which the team recorded 10 wins in a season.
