The recent run includes a weekend sweep at South Alabama, wins over Vanderbilt and Hawaii in the Cambria College Classic and sweeping a midweek home series against Northern Colorado.
Nebraska is in the middle of a 9-game home stretch. The Huskers host Omaha on Tuesday before Nicholls visits for a 4-game Thursday-Sunday weekend series.
