Diop is from Senegal. He is a product of the NBA Africa Academy. Last season, he played at Keystone Athletic Academy, which is a prep school in Pennsylvania.
He does not have a 247Sports Composite ranking. However, Diop has picked up several high-major offers in recent weeks.
Nebraska is now down to 1 open scholarship for the 2023-24 season. The Huskers are set to travel to Spain this weekend where they will play a series of exhibition contests.
Nebraska will be hoping to take a big step forward in 2023-24. The Huskers went 16-16 overall and 9-11 in Big Ten play last season. Nebraska has not reached the NCAA Tournament since 2014.
