Nebraska beats out several top programs for highly-recruited WR in class of 2023
Nebraska won a major recruiting battle on Tuesday afternoon.
The Huskers added a commitment from 3-star wide receiver Demitrius Bell in the class of 2023.

Bell also had offers from programs like Alabama, Ole Miss Georgia, Purdue and Kentucky. He’s a former Michigan State commit as well.
Bell ranks as the No. 453 overall player and the No. 30 athlete in the country for the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 11 player from the state of Tennessee.
Listed at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, Bell is an explosive athlete who could make an early impact during his time in Lincoln.
He’s a late addition to Nebraska’s 2023 recruiting class, which is now up to 26 members. The group ranks No. 24 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Nebraska has now added a 2023 commit in 2 consecutive days. On Monday, the Huskers earned a commitment from 3-star tight end Ismael Smith Flores.
