Nebraska DE on final matchups vs. Wisconsin, Iowa: 'These are culture games'
House money.
That’s what Nebraska is playing with when it heads into these final 2 games against Wisconsin and Iowa. A bowl berth is off the table. Scott Frost’s status has been settled, receiving the vote of confidence for the 2022 season. There’s nothing to lose.
It makes the Huskers a dangerous team in these final 2 contests. Defensive end Casey Rogers knows it, too.
“These next two games are culture games,” Rogers said, per Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald.

Even though the postseason is out of the question for the Huskers, they could play spoiler to the Badgers or the Hawkeyes in terms of a trip to the B1G Championship Game. It would also provide Frost with his first signature win, should Nebraska pull off an upset.
Nebraska has played arguably the toughest schedule in college football. Still, it’s 7 losses have all come by 9 points or less, with 6 being decided by 1 possession. It’s not going to be easy for Wisconsin or Iowa.
