Nebraska defensive lineman Jamin Graham is moving on.

Graham announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on Tuesday afternoon. He was set to begin his third season with the Huskers later this week.

Here’s Graham’s announcement:

He thanked Coach Frost for the opportunity and said his bond with teammates will “last forever” in the post.

Graham was a 3-star prospect in the class of 2019, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He was ranked as the No. 754 overall player and the No. 47 weak side defensive end in the country for that class.

He’s originally from Attalla, Alabama. He did not appear in a game for the Huskers across two seasons in the program.

Graham would have provided depth for the Huskers this season, but was not expected to contribute heavily to a defense that’s returning 10 starters this season.

Nebraska opens its 2021 season on Saturday against Illinois.
