Nebraska DT on Week 2 vs. Colorado: 'I'm just ready to go and kick some (expletive), to be honest with you'
Nebraska defeated South Alabama 35-21 on Saturday to open the season. There were positive to the Huskers opener, and there were negatives, as expected.

But in Week 1, Nebraska will be traveling to take on Colorado, a much more respected opponent. The Buffaloes quarterback is a legitimate thrower and Laviska Shenault at wide receiver may be taken in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Last season, the Huskers lost to Colorado 33-28. The game was tight, as the score indicates. Some believe that Nebraska was even the better team that day.
When looking forward one week, Huskers DT Darrion Daniels spoke about the upcoming matchup after the win over South Alabama:
Daniels (continued on Colorado): “I felt like last year we were the better team. And then if we were the better team last year, I know we’re the better team this year… I’m just ready to go and kick some ass, to be honest with you.”

Darrion Daniels, the Huskers’ defensive tackle, feels as though Nebraska is better than what it was a season ago — despite what many may say after the team’s season-opener.
Regardless, he’s ready to go. There’s no question about that.
