Nebraska is on the board in the class of 2024.

The Huskers received a commitment from 4-star athlete Roger Gradney late Monday night. Gradney is the 1st prospect to join Nebraska’s 2024 recruiting class.

Here’s his announcement:

Gradney is from Texas. He attends Rice Consolidated High School in Altair, Texas. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds.

He’s a major addition for Nebraska in the class of 2024. Gradney currently ranks as the No. 234 overall player and the No. 28 athlete in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 40 player from the state of Texas.

Nebraska 1st offered Gradney earlier this month. He was also being recruited by Houston and had offers from Texas Tech and UTSA.

It’s currently unclear what position Nebraska will have Gradney play at the next level. Secondary coach Evan Cooper and receivers coach Garrett McGuire were both tagged in his offer announcement to play for the Huskers.
