Nebraska fans made it clear who they want as their next head coach Saturday morning at FOX Big Noon Kickoff.

Urban Meyer joined the show Saturday morning and fans chanted “We want Urban,” during his segment.

The chant from fans comes less than a week after former head coach Scott Frost was fired on Sunday following a 1-2 start. It is clear the fans needed very little time to gather themselves before finding a new coach.

Perhaps the fans are on to something. Meyer has a rich history with the B1G, as he coached Ohio State from 2012 to 2018, where he gave the team some of its most successful years with a National Championship and three conference championships.

While Nebraska has gotten off to a slow start, the fans aren’t deterred and showed out for Big Noon Kickoff on Saturday. Nebraska looks to reroute its ship starting with a big test against No. 6 Oklahoma. The game will be interim head coach Mickey Joseph’s first game as coach.
