Nebraska officially pulled off one of the biggest recruiting flips of the 2024 cycle on Monday afternoon.

The Huskers earned a commitment from 5-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, who was previously committed to Georgia. Raiola, whose father played for the Huskers, is widely-regarded as one of the top quarterback prospects in the country.

Raiola is ranked No. 6 overall and No. 2 amongst quarterbacks in the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Raiola was recruited by some of the top programs in the country for the last couple of years and was also previously committed to Ohio State.

He will now join Nebraska as the program’s highest-ranked recruit in recent memory. He’ll headline a successful 2024 recruiting cycle, which is Matt Rhule’s first full signing class as Nebraska’s head coach.

Raiola gives Nebraska 26 commits so far in this class. The Huskers have the No. 19-ranked class in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
