After a rough start to play and a firing of a head coach, most college football fans would be disheartened with their team. Nebraska fans are not most fans.

After a 1-2 start with losses to Northwestern and Georgia Southern, Nebraska head coach Scott Frost was fired Sunday afternoon. Frost’s firing seemed like it was inevitable, and the rough start to the season was just the final straw.

Despite this, Nebraska fans still showed up and showed out for Fox Big Noon Kickoff on Saturday morning.

Nebraska interim head coach Mickey Joseph has a tall task in his first game as head coach Saturday. The Huskers take on No. 6 Oklahoma in front of Nebraska’s fired up fans.

Oklahoma comes into the game 2-0 with blow out wins against UTEP and Kent State. The Sooners are looking for another big win while Nebraska is looking for an upset win to start out a new era.

The Sooners and Huskers kickoff at 2 pm EST.
