Nebraska hasn’t won a lot in 2015. Six losses by a combined 23 points tells you all you need to know about the frustration in Lincoln last year.

But the Huskers do still hold the nation’s longest sellout streak, one which possibly could’ve been in jeopardy this year. After the Michigan State win, that doesn’t appear too likely to end anytime soon.

Those same diehard Nebraska fans earned themselves another accolade.

According to ESPN college football reporter Brett McMurphy’s coaches poll, Nebraska was the “overwhelming” choice for the nation’s smartest fans.

Even if Nebraska falls short of a bowl game for the first time since the Bill Callahan era, at least it has that.
