Nebraska is clicking on the recruiting trail, picking up a big-time win and a key commitment on Friday as we prepare to enter the middle of August.

This time, the commitment comes via the key flip of a player originally committed to Oregon. Isaiah Mozee is a 4-star wide receiver from Lee’s Summit North High School in Missouri. Mozee had no shortage of major offers, including drawing interest from Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Kansas, Iowa, Michigan and LSU, among others.

Now, Mozee is poised to be a cornerstone piece of Nebraska’s 2025 recruiting class for Matt Rhule and his staff.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Mozee is a 4-star recruit and the 31st available WR in the class of 2025. He’s also the No. 2 overall player from Missouri for the cycle.

With his commitment, Mozee immediately becomes the highest-ranked recruit currently committed to Nebraska in the 2025 recruiting class. The 6-foot-1 and 185-pound Mozee is rated the 247th overall player in the country, just a few spots ahead of 4-star quarterback TJ Lateef out of California.

Mozee is 1 of 6 players with a 4-star composite rating committed to the Huskers. That group ranks 29th in the country per the 247 Sports Team Composite.

The loss is a hit for Oregon, but the Ducks are well-positioned at WR in the 2025 recruiting class. Dan Lanning’s program already holds pledges from Dakorien Moore and Dallas Wilson, a pair of 5-star prospects ranked inside the top 20 players in the country for the cycle. Cooper Perry, a 4-star WR from Arizona, is also committed to the Ducks.
