Nebraska football signee Tyson Terry wraps up historic wrestling career with 4th state title
Nebraska football is set to get a boost on the defensive line from recent signee Tyson Terry. However, the accomplished multi-sport athlete from Omaha was finishing his wrestling career this winter before moving on to the Huskers, and Terry completed his career in historic fashion on Saturday.
With a win in the state final, Terry became the 38th wrestler in Nebraska history to win 4 state titles. He is the only NSAA wrestler to win all 4 titles at the heavyweight division, finishing his prep career undefeated with an overall 169-0 record.

If those numbers are not impressive or insane enough, Terry revealed afterwards that he competed during his senior wrestling season with a torn ACL, according to KETV’s Matt Sottile. The injury initially occurred during football season, and Terry will have surgery to repair the injury next week.
