Nebraska just hauled in a major special teams commitment for the Class of 2022. Five-star kicker Charlie Weinrich committed to the program as a walk-on:

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Weinrich is deemed a five-star kicker and four-star punter according to Kohl’s Kicking.com. Weinrich  scored 35 points on field goals at the 2021 National Scholarship Camp.

Weinrich also participated in the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July 2020. During that event, Weinrich, tallied  22 points on field goals and amassed 100.86 points on KO’s, plus with 92.35 points on punts.
