Scott Frost received a nice addition to his 2019 recruiting class on Wednesday.

Ty Robinson, a 6-foot-6, 285-pound defensive end from Arizona, committed to Nebraska on the first day of the Early Signing Period, becoming one of the top prospects in the Huskers’ class. The 4-star end also had offers from Alabama, Oregon, USC, Arizona and plenty of other schools.

Robinson is ranked as the No. 16 defensive end in the 2019 class and is the fifth-best prospect out of Arizona, according to 247Sports. He’s also inside the top 300 recruits.

Nebraska has 25 recruits in its 2019 class. The Huskers have a top five class in the B1G and a top 25 group nationally. Robinson became the sixth 4-star recruit to sign with Nebraska.

While Frost did get in on the recruiting action for the 2018 class, this is his first full season on the recruiting trail as the head coach in Lincoln.
