Nebraska gets NSD commitment from heavily-recruited 4-star WR
Nebraska has made a big splash on National Signing Day. The Huskers have added a 4-star wide receiver to the class.
Wednesday, Janiran Bonner announced his commitment to Nebraska, giving the squad some much-needed depth at the receiver position. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound receiver is a native of Ellenwood, Georgia. He was previously committed to Georgia Tech.
Bonner received offers from nearly 20 programs. He commits to the Huskers over offers from Auburn, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Tennesse and many others.
Per 247Sports, Bonner ranks as one of the Top 50 wide receivers in the 2021 class. Nationally, he ranks as the No. 329 overall prospect in the class.
Nebraska entered National Signing Day with the worst recruiting class in the B1G. However, because of commitments from Bonner and 3-star running back Ajay Allen, the Huskers have been on the rise on the final day of the recruiting cycle.
Bonner will have a chance to compete for playing time pretty quickly with the Huskers.
