Nebraska is losing one of its guards to the NCAA transfer portal.

On Thursday, Nebraska guard Cam Mack announced on Twitter that he will enter the NCAA transfer portal. He will also keep his name in the NBA Draft, but will retain his eligibility for the college game for the 2020-21 season.

Mack, a sophomore, played in 28 games for the Huskers last season, making 25 starts.

Mack did a little bit of everything for Nebraska during the 2019-20 campaign, averaging 12.0 points, 6.4 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game. He also averaged more than one steal per contest on the year.

This past season, Mack also recorded five double-doubles, including in back-t0-back games against Indiana and Purdue in mid-December, the first two games of B1G play.

Nebraska finished the 2019-20 season with a 7-25 record and a 2-18 mark in B1G games.
