Nebraska basketball added a commitment from Ball State guard transfer Jarron Coleman Sunday afternoon.
Coleman was an all-conference player with the Cardinals last season and will play his final season of college basketball in 2023 with the Huskers.
This is the 2nd time Coleman has transferred away from Ball State. He entered college in 2020 with the Cardinals before transferring to Mizzou. He was a good, not great player at Mizzou and elected to transfer back to Ball State for last season.
Now, he’s heading to Lincoln.

Coleman stands at 6-5 and averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists at Ball State in 2023. He’s shown a very strong ability to drain the 3, but hast struggled since shooting 42% from range in 2021 with the Cardinals.
Last season he shot a respectable 35%, but that numbers may go down against tougher competition as they did at Mizzou, where he hit at a 30% clip.
