Nebraska added another blue-chip recruit to its 2025 class on Sunday. The latest pledge comes from a defensive back out of Texas.

Bryson Webber is the newest Husker commit. Webber took to social media on Sunday to announce his plans to play for Matt Rhule’s program.

Out of Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point High School, Webber is listed as measuring over 6-2 and weighing 175 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Webber is rated 4-stars, the No. 30 cornerback, No. 45 recruit in the state of Texas and No. 298 prospect overall in the 2025 recruiting class.

In addition to Nebraska, Webber drew interest from programs in the Big 12 and SEC. Webber picked up scholarship offers from 13 programs, including Kansas, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt.

In May and June, Webber took visits to Nebraska, TCU, Baylor, Utah and Oregon State. He narrowed things down to Nebraska, TCU and Utah going into Sunday’s commitment announcement.

While on campus in Lincoln, Webber sported No. 23 for his official visit photoshoot. He also met Tom Osborne, even getting to go fishing with the legendary coach.

With Webber’s commitment, Nebraska now has 16 players verbally pledged in its 2025 recruiting class. The class ranks No. 29 nationally on the Composite.
