Nebraska lands commitment from edge defender out of Louisiana
Mickey Joseph went back to his home state to land another commitment for Nebraska. On Sunday, Ashley Williams pledged to the Cornhuskers.
The Zachary (Louisiana) standout shared the news on his Twitter account.

Williams is listed at 6-4, 215 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 18 Louisiana product, No. 36 edge defender and No. 401 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. During his recruitment, Williams has picked up 22 scholarship offers, including fellow Big Ten programs Michigan State and Minnesota. In June, Williams visited Nebraska, Minnesota and Texas.
