Former Wisconsin guard Kobe King has already found a new home after entering the transfer portal midway through the college basketball season.

According to a report from Robin Washut of HuskerOnline.com, King has verbally committed to continue his basketball career at Nebraska. The guard will have two years of eligibility remaining to use with the Huskers.

King announced his decision to leave the Wisconsin program last month, citing that he didn’t like the direction the program was heading.

King appeared in 53 games for the Badgers, making nine starts. This season, he was Wisconsin’s second-leading scorer, averaging 10.0 points per game in 19 appearances this year.

Per HuskerOnline.com, Nebraska does plan to pursue an immediate eligibility waiver for King, who has already used his redshirt season.
