Former Missouri guard Xavier Pinson has narrowed his list to four teams, including Nebraska.

The Huskers are joined by Georgia, Auburn and Arkansas.

Pinson is one of the best college basketball players currently in the portal. He’s coming off three productive years at Mizzou, including last season when he averaged 13.6 points per game.

Nebraska is probably an underdog here, but the Huskers should be much-improved next season. Fred Hoiberg added a top-25 recruiting class for 2021, which includes 5-star guard Bryce McGowens.

The Huskers have also already added a transfer from Xavier. Former 4-star guard C.J. Wilcher will be joining Nebraska’s squad for next season.

Nebraska went 7-20 overall during the 2020-21 campaign, but adding transfers like Wilcher — and potentially Pinson — should help to turn things around quickly.
