Nebraska lands inside the Top 8 for elite 2024 running back

Nebraska is recruiting at a strong level right now under first-year head coach Matt Rhule. The 2024 class is currently 23-deep with known commitments and ranks inside the national top 20.
Could another playmaker be on the way?
The Huskers remain in the mix for Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei running back Nate Frazier, a 4-star recruit in the industry-generated 247 Composite and a top-100 player in the class. He revealed his Top 8 on Tuesday and listed NU alongside Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Frazier took 2 of his official visits in the month of June, checking out Oregon on June 16 and then Alabama a week later. He also took unofficial visits to Georgia and Texas A&M earlier in the month. Nebraska will look to get him on campus and stay in the mix as his senior season gets closer.
As a junior last fall, Frazier averaged 11.4 yards a carry while piling up 693 rushing yards and 9 total touchdowns (1 receiving).
