Nebraska is putting together some nice touches to the first recruiting class of new head coach Matt Rhule. One of those pieces made the official call Saturday night.

The player is Rahmir Stewart, a 3-star safety out of Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia. He was in Lincoln for an official visit Friday and made his commitment known Saturday evening.

According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Stewart is a 3-star prospect and the No. 14 player out of Pennsylvania for the class of 2023. He’s also rated the 59th safety nationally for the cycle.

Stewart has landed Power 5 offers from nearly every major program across the country. Out of the B1G, Maryland, Michigan, Penn State and Rutgers were schools to have offers extended to Stewart.
