Nebraska’s 2020 recruiting class lost one player on Wednesday.

The decommitment came from linebacker Rodney Groce Jr. out of Pleasant Grove, Alabama. A three-star recruit, Groce is listed as the No. 22 ILB overall for the 2020 class by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.

Groce shared his announcement on Twitter:

Groce has received offers from a number of Power 5 programs, including Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, Purdue, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech. He did not immediately announce a commitment after decommitting from the Cornhuskers.
