Another Nebraska player entered the transfer portal on Monday. Alex Conn is the latest player to do so after Matt Rhule’s hiring.

Conn was a former 3-star OL from the 2020 class per the 247Sports Composite. Conn did not play in a single game for Nebraska and has three years of eligibility left.

Here’s what Conn had to say about the decision to transfer:

“I would like to say thank you to UNL for giving me an opportunity to play ball at a great program, but I will be entering the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility left,” said Conn via Twitter.

Conn was the eighth-best player out of Kansas from his class. He chose Nebraska over the likes of Oklahoma State, Arizona, Iowa State, and Kansas.

At 6-foot-6, 310 pounds Conn could be a force on the O-line if used correctly on a different college team. Stay tuned for news about where Conn is going next.
