Nebraska and Northwestern have both been up and down to begin 2021, and the two sides will meet in Week 5.

For Pat Fitzgerald’s Wildcats, they have lost games against Michigan State and Duke. The QB position also continues to be a roller coaster with Andrew Marty taking the reins and then leaving with an injury in Week 3. Ryan Hilinski started Week 4 but was far from impressive.

For Scott Frost’s Huskers, the effort has been there but results have not followed. Key penalties and mistakes have doomed Nebraska in the 3 losses to Illinois, Oklahoma, and Michigan State.

Historically speaking, the B1G West series between the two sides has been a close and hard-fought battle. But entering Week 5, DraftKings has Nebraska at -10 for the showdown. The O/U is set at 50.5.

Northwestern won by 8 points in 2020, and the last time a team won by double digits was Nebraska in 2016. Just 2 of the last 10 meetings between these sides have been decided by 10+ points.
