Nebraska opens as underdog in Week 2 matchup at Colorado
By Sydney Hunte
Published:
Nebraska and Colorado found themselves at opposite ends of the spectrum after their Week 1 games with their new coaches.
The Buffaloes outdueled TCU 45-42 to make a winner out of Deion Sanders, while the Cornhuskers dropped a 13-10 decision to Minnesota in what probably felt more like a Scott Frost result during Matt Rhule’s debut.
The Huskers next head to Boulder to face the Buffs. As expected, they’re an underdog according to Circa Sports’ opening lines released on Sunday:

While the entire country is talking about Colorado, the Huskers can spoil the party with a win on the road on Saturday. It’s the first time the former Big 8 foes have met since 2019.
That said, this is set to be one of the most anticipated home openers in some time for the Buffs. Folsom Field will be at fever pitch, which will add yet another dimension for the Huskers to contend with during Week 2.
Kickoff from Boulder is set for noon ET and will be televised on FOX.
