The state of Nebraska isn’t as talent-rich as California, Texas, Florida, Georgia or others when it comes to high school football players, but there are still plenty of kids who can play.

Keeping that in-state top talent home is going to be important for new Nebraska coach Scott Frost, and he got off to a good start on Saturday.

As you can see in the tweet below, Nick Henrich, a 4-star 2019 inside linebacker and the No. 1 player in Nebraska, announced he was committing to the Huskers:

According to the 247Sports composite, Henrich is the No. 9 inside linebacker in the class of 2019 and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of Nebraska.

The Huskers now have 13 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 7 in the Big Ten and No. 26 nationally, per 247Sports.
