Nebraska preparing for debut of prized TE prospect, top 2021 recruit
Nebraska received some good news Thursday night with the Huskers expecting their top recruit from the class of 2021 available in Week 9.
According to TEs coach Sean Beckton, true freshman Thomas Fidone will be cleared to dress for Saturday’s game against Purdue. Fidone injured his knee in the spring.
Evan Bland with the Omaha World-Herald shared Beckton’s comments, including his assessment that Fidone is “one of the hardest-working individuals” Beckton has been around as a coach:

Fidone was rated a 4-star prospect, the No. 2 TE nationally, and the top player out of Iowa for 2021 via the industry-generated composite rankings. He was the top-rated recruit for Nebraska’s No. 20 recruiting class nationally.
