Nebraska got a big 37-27 win today over Purdue and quarterback Adrian Martinez was feeling pretty thankful in his post-game comments.

When he spoke to the Big Ten Network after the game, Martinez said, “Coach Frost has been through a lot, I’ve been through a lot and we both care a tremendous amount about this program and Nebraska. We know how much it means to the people of this state and you know, just thankful for him. (I’m) thankful that these coaches care about us as more than players and very confident in the direction we’re going.”

Martinez was one of the biggest reasons as to why Nebraska took down Purdue today as he was 23-for-30 passing for 242 yards with a passing touchdown. He also rushed for 45 yards and a pair of scores on 13 carries.

The Cornhuskers will conclude their regular season next Saturday when they host Minnesota. Kickoff time is still TBD.
