Nebraska QB commit Daniel Kaelin earns spot in Top 11 of Elite11 finals
Nebraska commit Daniel Kaelin earned quite the honor on Saturday.
The Bellevue (Neb.) West quarterback was named one of the best quarterbacks at the 3-day Elite11 competition in Los Angeles. Instructors at the camp voted 5-star Alabama commit Julian Sayin the MVP of the event, and they included Kaelin alongside 10 of the 2024 class’s very best quarterbacks.
The group also features 5-star Georgia commit Dylan Raiola, 5-star Florida commit DJ Lagway, 4-star Ohio State commit Air Noland, 4-star Michigan commit Jadyn Davis, and 3-star Penn State commit Ethan Grunkemeyer.

According to Husker247’s Michael Bruntz, Kaelin is the first high school quarterback from Nebraska and the first Husker quarterback commit to make the final 11 list.
Alongside the top-ranked quarterbacks in the class, Kaelin more than held his own. He won the accuracy challenge on Friday and also finished in a tie for fifth in the pro day competition.
The 6-foot-2 Kaelin is 1 of 9 known commits in Nebraska’s 2024 class. He’s a 3-star recruit and the No. 33 quarterback in the class, according to the industry-generated 247 Composite.
He’s likely due for a bump following his Elite11 performance.
