New Nebraska running back Anthony Grant is starting to get his own fan club during the spring game.
Saturday afternoon in Lincoln, the transfer running back showed exactly what he can bring to the field with an explosive run in the first quarter for a touchdown. He made a vicious cut to throw off the defense before racing to the end zone.
None of the Nebraska defenders had a chance to catch him once he got into the open field.

Grant transferred to Nebraska after spending the previous two seasons at the New Mexico Military Institute. He was one of several players to transfer into the program this offseason.
During his two seasons at New Mexico Military Institute, Grant rushed for 2,549 yards and 28 touchdowns. He adds talent, experience and depth to Nebraska’s running back room.
That was on full display early inside Memorial Stadium.
