Nebraska receives good news with starting CB announcing return for 2021 season
It was a tough season for the Nebraska Cornhuskers in 2020 but they received some huge news on Monday going into 2021.
Starting cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt has announced his intention to return to the school for another season. He announced it in a video on his Twitter account:
After much thought and consideration…….. Let's take it back for one more ride Husker Nation!!! #GBR pic.twitter.com/on3sb5pXZK

Taylor-Britt is coming off a junior season where his numbers went down a tad but he still was good. He had 28 total tackles (23 solo) with two interceptions and four passes defended. He also had 55 combined yards returned on those two interceptions.
His best season to date came during his sophomore season in 2019. He had 49 total tackles (29 solo) with 1.5 sacks and four forced fumbles. He also had one fumble recovery and three interceptions, one of which was a pick-six. Lastly, he had three passes defended.
If Taylor-Britt can have another stellar season in 2021, it’s highly likely he’ll be picked in the NFL Draft when he declares.
